Prospa, 'Love Songs' (feat. Kosmo Kint)
On their latest for CircoLoco Records, UK duo Prospa team up with vocalist Kosmo Kint for ‘Love Songs’, a warm, vocal-led breaks track that still manages to keep the dancefloor in mind. With a delicate balance of live-sounding percussion and a rubbery, club-primed low end, it sits nicely in that sweet spot between the after-hours and the main room.
The vocal chop in the hook gets reused across the drops like a little signature, it’s the kind of production detail that rewards repeat listens. Kosmo Kint’s vocal sits right at the front, but there’s plenty of texture underneath: soft stabs, dusty hats, and a breakdown that breathes before the beat kicks back in with extra swing. Prospa have always had a knack for making records that feel both nostalgic and current, and this one’s no exception. It’s a track that could work just as well in a warehouse at 4am as it does on a sunny terrace, and that’s a rare thing.
Spotify and Apple Music have it.
